Company Profile
KMRREC is the research division of the Henry H. Kessler Foundation (HHK), a non-profit, public charity. There are 70 dedicated research staff members, including 20 doctoral level staff and post-doctoral fellows. Besides internal funding, KMRREC receives funding from federal research and training grants, National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, New Jersey Commission on Spinal Cord Research, United Spinal Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and charitable contributions from private donors. Its operating budget is approximately $ 9 million per year. Affiliated institutions include the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, ranked as one of the top 2 rehabilitation facilities in the US News and World Report and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School.
